Never underestimate the power of faithfulness. The power in remaining committed through easy and tough times. God is looking for men and women who will stay the course, put their hand to the plough and not look back. FYI thank goodness Noah was faithful, thank goodness Jesus was faithful, thank goodness Paul was faithful. God wants to release the authority of the Kingdom into the hands of faithful people.
When we set about putting together our leadership team in the church one of the primary characteristics we valued was the ability to be faithful. To be faithful to God, to their spouse, to their job and to us as a lead couple. We needed to know that when the going got tough (and boy did it ever) that they would walk through the miry clay with us. We needed to know that we had surrounded ourselves with men and women who would speak the purposes of God in the here and now despite what the natural circumstances dictated. You see we needed people who were living for eternity who could remain faithful to the end.
In the book of Matthew God says “Well done good and FAITHFUL servant you have been faithful over a few things i will make you ruler over much. Enter into the joy of the Lord” Notice that faithfulness is 1. Rewarded 2 Increased 3 Attached to the promise of Gods joy. There are consequences to you and I staying the course, to not giving up and having Gods purposes firmly in our sights. Faithfulness is very seldom easy, but it is always rewarded in the Kingdom. So today be encouraged to keep pressing on; your faithfulness WILL bear fruit, you will see God come through.
Have an amazing day, be filled with courage and stay the course to finish strong.
